Here are directions to the Davis County Event Center (formerly FairPark) for those of you heading up to the GSL Bird Festival [in case you are like me, and used to go via Farmington's State St/ 100 N, which is no longer possible.]

Directions: Take the 2nd Farmington exit,, which is 324. Almost immediately take exit 395 (Park Lane) and head west. It becomes 1100 West at the 100 North stoplight. The Event Center is in front of you. The festival will be in the southern buildings with their parking lot accessed from 1100 W.

GSL Bird Festival Info:
The GSL Bird Festival begins tomorrow and goes through next Tuesday. There are still some field trip openings, so check the website or just call 801-451-3286 if you are interested. Field trips are every day. The free workshops, vendors, kid's activities, live bird presentations, etc. will take place at the Davis County FairPark (now called Event Center) in Farmington on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. A free "Quackers and Cheese" social with the vendors will be from 5 to 6:30pm on Friday following talks by featured speakers, Professor Avian Quano, BIR D. (Denny Olson) --"Common Loonacy" at 4pm and Ron Rohrbaugh, "Cornell Lab of Ornithology Overview and Programs" at 5pm.

Thank you to all of you who are volunteering as field trip leaders and those of you participating as well!
