Great trip!!
Hot, humid, lots of birds, lizards, gators and bug bites.
We only had rain one day and I was driving the whole time it was raining. The tropical depression knocked a lot of birds down which helped our numbers a lot.

Beth and I did a lot of driving about 1200 miles. Went north to Sebastian Inlet and south to the Dry Tortugas.
I got 51 lifers, beth had 79, 150 species total.
We saw 18 Warbler species, SMOOTH-BILLED ANIby the Ft. Lauderdale Airporjt, no owls at all, no Florida Scrub Jay , the only Emberizid was an EASTERN TOWHEE. I got my RUDDY TURNSTONE over one hundred of them :D.
The Dry Tortugas was the best warbling area ever, all you have to do is sit at a bench near the water fountain and all of the warblers come into clear view for you :D.
Did some scuba diving, snorkeling took lots of pictures and I am back to my normal tanned color. A lot of great fruit at "Roberts is here fruit stand" made me fill like a kid back in a Brazil.

  Great trip

I still need an AMERICAN BITTERN, and if the Evening Grosbeaks are still around Springville I may try for them this weekend.

  Good birding.
