Hi,

The calendar says its spring, the weather looks like it, so I thought I
would see if I could find any year birds.

Started the morning going around the Provo Airport Dike. Northern
Rough-winged Swallow, Clark's Grebe, and a small flock of Vesper Sparrows.

Drove to River Lane, but it was pretty quiet. Did see my first Turkey
Vulture of the year soaring over the fields in Springville just off of the freeway.

I had a donut with lunch, so I had to walk the Skipper Bay trail to try to
burn some of it off. The previously reported Osprey was on the nest.

Headed for home, but drove by the Geneva ponds to see the reported
Double-crested Cormorants.

Still a little early I guess.

Jack Binch
