[Birdtalk] Band-tails

The first Band-tailed Pigeon to show up in my yard this year was there at 8:40 this morning for about 5 minutes - eating Black-oil sunflower seeds on the platform feeder, then dropping down to take a drink from the birdbath. No sign of him again until just now. He's sitting up in the bare Locust tree in the backyard and is visible from the street as well. Anyone wanting a view is welcome to drop by (just knock on my door if he's not visible from the street), though I certainly can't guarantee how long he'll stay around.
