This afternoon we took a tour west of Paradise, up Mcmurdie Hollow, turning North onto Meridian Road over to Mt Sterling, the Hyrum Dam and back to Paradise.

Birds of interest were: Kingfisher, Red-tailed Hawk, Kestrel, Gray Partridge, Horned Lark, Chickadee, and Song Sparrow.

The snow is pretty deep here. About a foot depending on how the wind got after it. The Hyrum Dam is still frozen over.

On a note from yesterday; there was a pair of Wood Ducks at the pond where highway 165 crosses the Blacksmith Fork River. Nibley.
