[Birdtalk] UOS Quick Chase

The Utah Ornithological Society will be sponsoring a Quick Chase to Fish Springs NWR on TUESDAY, July 31, to look for the Painted Bunting, Scarlet Tanager, and Red-shouldered Hawk that have been reported.  The Bunting and Tanager were still at the refuge as of Sunday, July 29, so it is likely that they will still be there.  The Hawk was seen some 10-15 miles east of the refuge.

If any Salt Lake or Davis County birders are interested, we will meet in the southeast corner of the Sugar House Shopko parking lot, 13th East and just north of the exit ramp, at 7:00 a.m., Tuesday.  If more birders come than will fit in my SUV, we will have to take 2 or more vehicles.  Whichever way we go, the roads are flat and in good condition.
