[Birdtalk] bunting thoughts

Hi,
 
I realize the fate of a new Utah record for the Painted Bunting is in the  
hands of the record committee. I would like to add that previous to the arrival  
of the bird we had three severe monsoonal storms that bring moisture up  from 
the Gulf of Mexico. If a bird can be blown across the Atlantic Ocean, I  
think one could be blown into Utah from Texas. At any rate it is on my list  and 
not likely to be taken off.
 
I am having a lot of fun at home as well. I have all four species of  
hummingbirds here. So far the photos have not been very good. Real flighty right  now.
