[Birdtalk] Evening Birding at Farmington Bay

Hi All

This is a reminder that we have gotten approval to do some birding at Farmington Bay after hours this Saturday evening. I will be there by 6:30 to open the gates. We also have approval to go in to the new Learning Center Facility, so I would like to start there so everyone can have an opportunity to see it and view birds from the viewing deck. The gate for the new Learning Center is located near the end of Glover lane.

 This will not be a formal tour, unit one (the main dike that starts at Goose-egg Island) will be opened and everyone can bird at their leisure. If things work out I would like guide a tour after hours with the help of other Farmington Bay volunteers in August when we will have access to the rest of the Bird Refuge, stay tuned for more on that.
