Some more specifics on directions for the birds at fish springs. The Thomas Ranch area is the only treed area in the refuge aside from the area surrounding the Headquarters. Upon entering the refuge, continue Northeast past the headquarters and stop at the first stand of trees you come to. The road continues straight ahead and there is also a road running east. There is a small parking lot here, a few interpretive signs, a bathroom, picnic tables etc.

It's pretty easy to find.

The birds could be in any of the trees. I guess the Bunting could make its way to the feeders behind the main office at the headquarters as well.
