Hi,
I drove to the west side of Willard Bay on Sunday and was impressed with the
quantity of birds there. Numerous Marbled Godwits, Franklin's Gulls,
White-faced Ibis, and dowitchers. Most were within binocular range and I spent a lot
of time looking for a Hudsonian, without success. There were some Black
Terns, Forster's Terns, and Caspian Terns as well.
By the way, the road is bumpy, bumpy, bumpy. Some of the road is five miles
per hour. If you don't have the patience to go slow, then skip it.
Jack
