[Birdtalk] Help with ID

This looks like the more expected species, Long-billed Dowitcher.  
Winter dowitchers are tricky but the smooth gray breast lacking spots 
and gray-washed vaguely barred flanks also look good for Long-billed.  
Short-billed typically have a paler breast with dark spots, flanks at 
least sometimes with dark chevrons instead of bars, and a white throat 
contrasting with the breast (although I think the throat is difficult or 
impossible to judge in this photo).  Hope this helps.
