[Birdtalk] Keep your eyes peeled for Gyr's

Back in Utah after a lovely snow-filled, 20 below zero temps, 40 mph wind gusts,
24 hour-1550 mile drive from Indianapolis.  I write this because of a sighting
I had in southeastern Wyoming as I drove.  As I emerged east of the Medicine
Bows around MM228 on I-80 I had a dark phase Gyrfalcon cruise over the highway.

With the arctic weather who knows what might blow this way?

Will this be the winter for a Gyr to return to Utah???
