Hi all,

I'm sure many of you have heard about the upcoming 'cold' storm the local
news stations have been raving about. I just want to give everyone a heads
up that a 'quick' run down to find the quail this weekend may not be so
quick, at least compared to normal (and not that 5hr drive is just around
the corner). Anyway, if you've noticed your favorite TV meteorologist being
vague about what locations are going to get what snowfall accumulations and
when, then I think you can tell that we're even more unsure about the
upcoming storm than usual. However, I do want to point out that for those
heading down or back up from SE UT on Friday, one of the more definite
(note: i'm writing this while biting my tongue) outcomes of the storm is
that US 6 over Soldier Summit, especially between the pass and Price, looks
like it will be pretty nasty...although maybe getting better by Friday
night. Just be prepared for winter driving conditions and be careful. I
also realize I'm starting to sound like my parents (a scary thought).

The quail may not be as easy to find as the Shirley's described, but I would
imagine they will be in the general area for weekends to come when the wx is
more cooperative.

For those that do head down this weekend, please keep everyone updated

Colby

P.S. and one more thing for those that make the trek, send an email my way
telling me how wrong I was about the weather...it's only fitting ;)
