[Birdtalk] Rosy Finches at Red Butte, 1/6/07

While snowshoeing in the foothills south and east of Red Butte
Botanical Gardens this afternoon, I came across a huge (~300 birds)
flock of Rosy Finches periodically flying and landing along the
snow-covered ridges.  They never landed long enough or close enough to
separate species, but they still made my afternoon!
