[Birdtalk] Records Committee changes

Greetings and Happy New Year,

The yearly Utah Bird Records Committee elections have been held.  Larry
Tripp has been elected to a second term on the committee and Kristin
Purdy has been elected to a first term.  Thanks to those who have
served on the committee.  They do an excellent job and perform an
important function for birders and ornithologists of the state.

Merrill Webb completed his second term at the end of 2006 (Records
Committee members can serve two consecutive terms then must be out at
least one year before being eligable to serve again).  Merrill has
serve two terms plus a number of years before the bylaws were created. 
He's served long and well and contributed much to the birding community
of Utah.  Thank you very much, Merrill.

And thanks to those who have sent in sight records of review birds. 
We've been getting more and more records each year (and with better and
better pictures).  Your contributions are very important and much
appreciate.
