[Birdtalk] Hummingbirds . . . priceless!

When I was about 12, and on a family camping trip to Colorado in
August, I made a hummingbird feeder from a paper cup, and had
Broad-taileds perching on my fingers and arms (even when not feeding).
My father took lots of pictures - it was one of the most magical
experiences of my youth.

I've tried to do the same here at my house a time or two, but the
Black-chinneds seem to be too shy. The woman in these photos has all
Broad-taileds and I think they are tame enough for such a close
encounter.
