[Birdtalk] Salem pond waterfowl

The red-breasted merganser drake reported a few days ago persists on 
Salem Pond. Six canvasbacks, vie males and one female, were see on the 
smaller Salem Pond in the residential area a few blocks north of the 
main pond. There are also numerous mallards, gadwalls, common 
goldeneyes, northern shovellers, American wigeon, lesser scaup, and etc. 
to be seen.
