[Birdtalk] Northern Pygmy Owl

  We just had a Northern Pygmy Owl drop into our yard right into the middle of a zillion juncos.  Every bird in the yard scattered and of course, we both fainted.  He then perched on top of the bird feeder for a few minutes before taking off.  That is definitely a first for us.  Sure hope he makes another try...they're so adorable.

Has anyone had any luck trying to feed the poor predators in weather like this?
