[Birdtalk] Stalking Decoys

I have gotten excited before at sighting waterfowl to only to find it was a decoy, but Tim's response reminded me of one of my most embarrassing sightings. We were caravanning with several vans on a family outing up to the Unitahs on the drive from Deer Valley over to Kamas I slammed on my breaks and jumped out of my car binoculars in hand, the others in out caravan all slammed on their breaks and thought either someone in my van was sick or dying. I excitedly pointed up on the side of the hill at what I thought was a black bear only to see that it was really a cow. I was glad none of them had weapons because I think they all could have killed me.
