Hi all,

For the those that will be covering the University and Avenue sections of
the Salt Lake CBC...

For about 2 months now, there has been a HAIRY WOODPECKER covering an area
between the Union Building (of the U of U) through President's Circle to
~1250 E and 200 S. MOUNTAIN CHICKADEES and RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES have
also been in President's Circle consistently. I've heard a mixed flock of
CEDAR and BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS around 1200 E and 200 S on a couple of occasions
over the past several weeks. RED CROSSBILLS have also been heard flying a
couple times in this general area over the past month or so (probably the
cemetery flock).

Also, there's a WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW flock hanging out in the trees/shrubs
on the north side of Ensign Elementary School in the Avenues. JUNCOS and
LESSER GOLDFINCHES have both been heard here as well.
