  I just returned from being out of town for a couple of days and found that Dave will not be here on 8/25.  I'll be happy to be at the Shopko to help organize the Salt Lake folks, then to leave at 7 a.m.  We can meet Lu and the Utah County Birders at the Kamas Ranger Station at 8 a.m. and all bird together.

  Dave,

  the Utah County Birders are also planning to visit the Mirror Lake area this
  Saturday (8/25). If there are no Salt Lake birders who can help, I'd be
  willing to meet your group in Kamas and lead a combined group on the field
  trip. If that does not sound reasonable, either to you or the group, I'm ok
  with that. Either way, just let me know.
