This morning I stepped in for Colby Neuman and led the Great Salt Lake Audubon
Field Trip to Brighton in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Hopes were to find some
migrating Warbler's and maybe a White-winged Crossbill. There were a number of
birds at Silver Lake including a number of migrants, and we got some great
looks at some usually difficult to see.

Highlights:
1 - Spotted Sandpiper (still hanging out)
Numerous Orange-crowned and MacGillivray's Warbler
3 - Fox Sparrow
3 - Lazuli Bunting (migrants)
3 - Rufous Hummingbird
2 - Black-chinned Hummingbird
6 - Broad-tailed Hummingbird
1 - Olive-sided Flycatcher
1 - Brown Creeper

and thought I heard a Goshawk when we got there.

At Storm Mountain we had 1 American Dipper and 1 Virginia's Warbler.

Good Birding
