I went to Antelope Island this morning for some birding warm up before heading to FL Saturday.
At MM 6 lots of peeps too far to be identified, about 30 Black-bellied Plovers. A lot of Willets, Eared Grebes and Gulls.
At the Island a lot of very vocal Chuckars, two Grasshopper Sparrows at 3.5 and 1.5 miles before Garr Ranch.
At the Ranch a lot of Yellow-rumped, few Yellow, and Orange-crowned and one Black-throated Gray Warblers by the water, one Green-tailed Towhee, Swainson's and Hermit Thrush. The GHOW chicks are getting huge, both parents not far away in the cottonwoods.

Stopped at Farmington Bay WMA once again NO BITTERN!!!! Thanks for rubbing it in Jack in Kirstin :P. I almost wen to Bear River today.

  Good Birding

I will have a FL report when I get back.
