[Birdtalk] non-Audubon members welcome on trips?

[Bear River Refuge Volunteers]

Dear Utah Bird Clubs:
   
  We get lots of birders visiting Bear River Refuge, especially in the spring.  They often ask about field trips in Utah to see birds, and we have been referring them to the utahbirds.org events calendar, or the individual bird club web pages.  We thought maybe we should just ask the question through this listserve.
   
  Do Audubon chapters and other clubs in Utah invite "visitors" or non-members to take part in their scheduled field trips?  If so, do your web sites or the calendar provide a name and/or phone number as a contact person?
   
  We'd appreciate it if you could let us know.  Thanks!
