A nice flock (usually 10, but twice have seen 18-20) of Cassin's Finches have temporarily taken up residence in my yard, apparently waiting for the mountain weather to be more hospitable. They did this last April as well. Also occasionally have 2-3 White-crowned Sparrows and still have a pair of Oregon Juncos, but no hummers or Lazuli Buntings.

This is the first year we've had American Goldfinches in spring. It was fun to see their odd outfits during molt! Now they're looking quite respectable.

Up to 5 Band-tails still dropping by.
