[Birdtalk] Spring arrivals

A few sightings from around Davis Co. today:

Blue-winged Teal, with Cinnamon Teal on the first pond on the right as
you enter Farmington Bay WMA.

~100 Marbled Godwits, a Bonaparte's Gull, and several Caspian Terns, west
of Egg Island at Farmington Bay WMA.

Great Egret flying west, seen at the west end of Gentile St. in Layton.

30+ Black-bellied Plovers, on the south side of the Antelope Is.
Causeway, 1/2 mile past the entrance station.

A downy Great Horned Owl chick, in the nest at Garr Ranch on Antelope
Island.
