[Birdtalk] Antelope Island

Thank-you to everyone who has informed us concerning the Botulism issue. I  
was dismayed over the fact there won't be a cleanup done. I feel that visitors  
out to the Causeway, especially our out of state company, would not want to  
come back and enjoy the beauties the Great Salt Lake can offer. There were 
some  people from Virginia here last week, and Kris Purdy helped them spot and 
enjoy  the Golden Plover. They did not mention the dead birds. I for one, would 
hope  that tax dollars, or volunteers could help with this concern.
I love going to the Causeway, and enjoy so much the opportunities to site  
those grand creatures of the sky. I wiped the tears aside, last week, as I left  
the Causeway, and felt a major loss. The numbers posted made my heart sink 
even  more.
I'm posting my thanks here, to all of those who are concerned, and doing  
their best to inform us, and help with scientific data for future use.
