Dear Utah Birders:

I'm pleased to tell you that the NEW  2007 "Utah Official Scenic Calendar"
features an image of "Bird Watching from the Eastern Shore of the Great
Salt Lake" as an inset photo for the month of May.  I think this is a
FIRST!  Leigh von der Esch and her staff have heard us!

As always, the large page images are all "scenic" - mostly red rocks and
snow, but at least we're in there!  Maybe the 2008 calendar could feature a
large flock of birds - with someone "watching"  for one of the months???
We can lobby for it!

The calendars will be available in a couple of weeks from the Utah Office
of Tourism,  and selected outlets.
