A few people were a bit surprised earlier this week when all of the sudden I
started reporting birds from Utah again. I snuck home for a week with the
mountains, but now its back to the flat-lands. It was a great week of birding
back in the beehive state. I tallied 102 species (It think) over 9 days, just
in the northern tier, not bad for the last week in October. I added a few more
shots to my gallery today. In particular I added several shots of a first
winter Bonaparte's Gull at Willard Bay that was very cooperative, flying by
several times.

Can't wait to make it out again in December, for now I will hope for a Kittiwake
or Little Gull in the coming weeks on Lake Michigan!
