Hi all,

Tim Avery (talked him into trying a second time) and I went up to Little
Dell Reservoir late this afternoon to take a look. We spent about an hour
doing a fairly thorough search of the lake, and unfortunately, we could not
come up with a Red-necked Grebe. Here's a list of what was seen...

Common Loon - 1 near basic plumage - literally moved from one side of the
reservoir to the other and back in the time we were there
Western Grebe - 1 - spent most of its time on the far side of the reservoir
Eared Grebe - 1 basic plumage - near the inlet
American Coot - 5 - on near shore near dam
Mallard - 6 - on near shore near dam
Belted Kingfisher - 1 - trees at inlet
House Finch - 2 - at inlet
American Goldfinch - 2 - flybys along roadside

We didn't see new birds from the other day on the sections of Mountain Dell
Reservoir that were visible.
