Subject: Farmington Bay Birds
Today I was out at the Bay, "looking" for, and unable to find the Spoonbill. Kris Purdy was also there to no avail. I was able to do the other good thing though, and that was to see all of the many other species that are there. There were many sightings of the No. Harriers, and one gave me quite a show. She was on the hunt as usually, and flew down for her catch, right near my car. She came up with it in her talons, and flew off to enjoy her prey. I love seeing them hunt, and show off their skill. Now back to the Spoonbill. I did talk with Rich, the manager out at the Bay, and mentioned for his crew to keep their eyes open for any sightings. He said he would call me if they saw it. Knowing Kris Purdy, she will hunt it down if at all possible. Thanks to her we have seen MANY wonderful species. GOOD LUCK KRIS!
