The map at the link below shows Farmington Bay WMA. I'll refer to the map with info about the Roseate Spoonbill sighting.

http://www.wildlife.utah.gov/images/fbmap.gif

Generally speaking, the Roseate Spoonbill was seen Tuesday in a canal 1/4 mile north of the parking areas (designated by a star) between Turpin Unit and Unit 1 (a.k.a. the waterfowl rest area). There are actually two parking areas at that star--one at the southwest corner of Unit 1 and another a couple hundred yards west at the northeast corner of Turpin Unit. The map doesn't happen to have two stars there.

The west border of Unit 1 is the west dike road.

For more information on Farmington Bay including directions on how to get there, launch the link to Davis County birding sites below and scroll down to Farmington Bay.
