[Birdtalk] Request for reports

Looks like October has been a rather slow month for birds in Northern Utah. I
haven't seen any recent reports from Bear River NWR or Antelope Island Causeway
(besides a waterbird count) and was wondering if anyone had been out lately?
Typically this time of year both the causeway and Bear River yield some great
fall transients. It appears that this fall has been sort of a "slow" or mild
migration on the lake. Very few Sabine's Gulls, not a whole lot of shorebirds
(albeit the PGPL in Sept)and no Jaegers.
In any event, despite the lack of a lot of great fall migrants, are people
getting out to the mentioned locations? Even if you don't have rare birds to
report, the birdtalk list is a great place to share what you are seeing. I
think everyone can benefit from even the reports of the "usual suspects". And
birdnet of course cna be used for those rarities when they do pop up.
So please, please, please post your sightings, even if its just a few California
Gulls or a Killdeer, it helps everyone when deciding where to go when they have
some free time to look for birds!
