One source of recent data on what birds are seen when is eBird
[www.ebird.org]. You can see graphs of data shown in a number of
different ways. Unfortunately, not many birders in Utah seem to be
submitting reports there. So when I asked to see the total numbers of
Eastern Kingbirds reported in several Northern Utah counties for the
last 4 years, none of the checklists had the species later than the
last week of August, but even at the peak, only 7 checklists included
the species. It would be nice if more of us were reporting so that a
true picture of the occurence of species in Utah could be seen. I must
admit that I still haven't entered any of the lists I kept this year.

Enjoy!
