[Birdtalk] Rio Grande Valley Birding Festival

I'm contemplating a trip to Harlingen, TX, next month to go to the RGV
festival, but wanted to get some feedback before making a commitment.  
Has anyone attended in past years?  Is it worth the trip?  Too crowded 
to enjoy?  Any comments would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone's been to this event, I'd be interested in knowing which 
field trips might be the most productive.  I've never been birding in that 
area, so I expect I'll see lifers most anywhere I turn around, but it 
would be nice to choose locations that would give the most variety.
