[Birdtalk] Mountain Dell & Little Dell, Salt Lake County, 11/11/2006

Late this morning I birded Mountain Dell and Little Dell reservoirs.

Little Dell:

2 Common Loons
1 Pied-billed Grebe
1 Common Goldeneye
1 Mallard

Mountain Dell:

225 Ring-necked Duck
30 Common Goldeneye
1 Hooded Merganser (drake; north bayou)
1 Redhead
3 American Wigeon
1 Mallard
1 Song Sparrow
1 Oregon Junco

The road from Little Dell to East Canyon has a lot of snow and ice on
it, and the snow was coming down pretty hard so I didn't make it out
to East Canyon Reservoir in my Geo (should get an F-350 pickup...or
maybe not).
