Given the predominate discussion thread I am almost afraid to post my
sightings, but here goes anyway:

Had a great egret fly over my house yesterday.

Today we just got back from Antelope Island and the first thing I
spotted between mile marker 6 and 5 was a gull with a TURQUOISE BLUE
BODY. My wife can confirm this sighting. A burrowing owl was seen in
the rocks on Lakeside Trail. Further on that trail we saw 4 antelope
SWIMMING IN THE GSL. (Another first!)

The best I can figure was that the gull must have been in some blue
paint at a dump or maybe a mine leach pond somehow turned the body
feathers turquoise blue.

Does anybody have any explanations for this?

Paul

p.s. Our alcohol/ blood levels at the time were .00 and the only
medications we take are for high blood pressure.
