I asked that this person NOT email me ever again, yet he did. Who is the
childish one?
The truth be told, I don't think that someone saying, "you couldn't have
seen that..." is being fair or friendly, nor are they trying to help. They
weren't present, so how can they help? Someone please explain that to me.
The fact is, I am NOT a novice. I've been birding for six years. S- I-X.
The fact is, I may have made a mistake, but the only person that would know
that is ME. M- E. Not Cliff Wiese, not the exalted Mark Stackhouse, just
me.
There was nothing sincere about Mark Stackhouse wanting to "help" me.
Saying to someone, "your ID skills need help..." is NOT offering help.
I quit MD Osprey because they are too unfriendly and unhelpful for my
tastes, I didn't get kicked off.
Only an idiot would believe a teenage birder over an adult about "you even
had people from other states who's name you mentioned on MDOsprey writing to
the list requesting that they not be associated with you", becuase the
person making that request isn't even the birder I know, only a teenager
that supposedly "knows" this person.
Arrogance is thinking you know the entire situation when you weren't there,
which is what this whole thing is all about: a person's right to NOT be
told they didn't see something, when they did, and the person that is saying
that wasn't there.
BTW, Cliff Wiese also told me I couldn't possibly see Whimbrels at Bear
River; others saw them at Bear River after I reported them.
