[Birdtalk] RE: Hotline reports

There has been a statewide rare bird alert for some time.  IT isn't as 
popular as it used to be and not as many people repot to it because of the 
internet.  Bill Fenimore is currently in charge.  The number is: 
801-5384730.

Ideally the moment a rare bird is seen the observer could call this number 
and leave the info, and the compiler who checks on  a daily basis would be 
able to post to the hotline ASAP.

Nowadays, a lot of us keep several others phone numbers with us so we can 
have someone psot to birdnet if we are going to be in the field a while.

p.s. I keep Bill's work number handy so if I actually was lucky enough to 
find something real good I would be able to let him know really quick ;)
