My family and I live in Syracuse and have noticed that an American Robin (we are assuming) has nested in a decorative wreath on my front door. When I looked inside there is one blue egg. Is there anyway to remove the nest from the door without endangering the egg or causing the mother to abandon it? We are concerned because the bird is startled and flys away everytime the front door is opened and whenever people come to the door. We would appreciate any suggestions you have because we are not bird savvy. Our home phone is 801-547-6726 if you would prefer to call.
