[Birdtalk] Grace's Warbler in Carbon County

Milt, Tuula, Leena and I went birding in Carbon County today. We saw over
70 species before we quit at 1:30. The most interesting bird of the day was
a Grace's Warbler at Price Canyon Recreation Area. On our way up the road
we commented on how it looked like Grace's habitat and to our surprise we
actually found one (sometimes if you wish hard enough...).

All my field guide range maps seem to say this is North of their normal
range. Even the fairly detailed map in the Peterson Warbler guide doesn’t
show them quite this far North and we were wondering if this was the normal
northern edge of their range. Any experts out there?

The turn off to Price Canyon Rec Area is a few miles South of the Utah
County line on the East side of highway 6 (there is a sign). The bird was
in the 'day use' area (turn right at the fork) at the top of the road.
Price Canyon Rec Area is a nice place to bird.
