[Birdtalk] My accident

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for their kind 
expressions and support over the past week, and especially to Glenn 
Barlow for taking the time to post my progress to the community. Thank 
you to all of you who took time to visit me in the hospital as well. It 
certainly helps to have so much support and encouragement.

I'm now home, and enjoying my quail and hummingbirds. Most of me is 
doing well, though my left arm will need further surgeries and lots of 
therapy. At least I'm on the mend at the moment. My binoculars and my 
camera survived the wreck. It's times like these that teach us what's 
really important in life - I'm so miffed that I couldn't go with David 
and Larene this morning to get the Glossy Ibis! ;-)

Anyway, thanks again to all of you, and I'm looking forward seeing you 
in the field again soon!
