[Birdtalk] Brighton

Hi,
 
Bob Huntington and I birded the Brighton area today along with Pomera  
Fronce, Jack Clark, and Steve and Cindy Sommerfeld. It was an impromptu meeting  at 
the cafe parking lot. We saw some pretty good birds, but later Bob and I  
walked through the Spruces Campground. The camp host at site #4 has a couple of  
hummingbird feeders up and at the teardrop shaped one Bob and I got a good look 
 at a female Rufous. It sat on a branch facing us after partaking of a sip 
and  surprised both of us. I am not sure if it is a late migrant going north or 
a  very early one coming south.
