Thanks for the note, Glenn. We're all sorry to hear of this misfortune to one of our birding friends. Hopefully, he can heal and return to full activity.

All Utah Birders,
I called the Westwings Office today and was informed by Brad, the office person, that Mark was in a very serious vehicle accident yesterday. Apparently this happened while he was involved in one of his consulting activities/surveys at a magnesium plant. From what I was told, his vehicle rolled several times and his left arm was severely injured. He was taken to the University Hospital where they performed surgery on his left arm. I was also told that following surgery he was put into a medically induced state of unconsciousness, which was supposedly done to help in the healing process.. How long he will remain this way I do not know.
For those of us interested in his well-being, it might perhaps be a good idea to remember him and his family in our prayers. Let’s hope he has a speedy recovery.
