[Birdtalk] Western Birding Symposium - additional information

Hi Everyone -

Regarding Western Birding Symposium plans...

PETE DUNNE UPDATE...
Pete finally chose a field trip to take part in - he'll be co-leading the 
Friday, August 18 trip to Willard Bay/Antelope Island...so if you want to 
bird/hang out with him, sign up for this trip.  He will only be attending 
our event from Thursday afternoon through Friday evening.  He's leaving to 
fly back to New Jersey on Saturday morning, so if you would like books 
signed, or want to chat, just know he won't be around on Saturday.

MOTEL UPDATE
Regarding motels/hotels, the Crystal Inn in Brigham City is giving us a 
special $69.00 rate, but you have to mention you're attending the Western 
Birding Symposium when you call.  The Sherwood Hills Hotel/Resort up in 
Sardine Canyon (15 minutes up Hwy. 89 from Brigham City) is giving the same 
rate; again, you must mention the Symposium.  Howard Johnson Inn in Brigham 
City is giving us a rate of $54.00 for 1 bed and $64.00 for 2 beds.  These 
prices do not include tax.  I do not have rates for the other lodging 
facilities.

FIELD TRIP UPDATE
I could still use 1-2 people to assist with leading the Bear River Refuge 
field trips.  If you're interested, let me know!
