Hi All

Yesterday while riding my bike at Farmington Bay I saw a Norther
Mockingbird just inside the gate to the unit 1 Dike. Unit 1 is
accessible by foot or bicycle right now. I saw him on my way in and
again on my way out in the same area.

There are a lot of shorebirds Avocets some already turning gray for the
winter, Stilts. The Avocets and Stilts were getting quite close to me I
suppose to lure me away from their youngsters. Greater and Lesser Yellow
Legs, White Faced Ibis, Snowy Egret. Lots of Pelicans, Forster's and
Caspian Terns.

The Marsh Wrens were as bold as I have ever seen them coming out and
letting me have good long looks at them, I heard a lot of Common Yellow
Throat in the reeds and cattails but it's hard to get them to come out.

I have seen Great Tailed Grackles every visit for several weeks but
didn't see them yesterday, I have seen them at Farmington Bay hanging
around the Learning Center and also at the West Bountiful Lake lactated
just south of the Bountiful Dump.

Happy Birding
Steve
