On a whim, I drove on Thursday (July 6) to Price River Recreation area for
the Grace's Warbler found by Eric Huish, Milt Moody, Leena Rogers, and Tuula
Rose. Jack Binch's photo of the bird also urged me to see it again.
Its song is loud and distinctive and can certainly lead a person to it, if
you know its song.
When I arrived at the area, Ned Bixler was already there searching for it.
In the PRR area, I took a right turn at the "T" intersection to the day use
area, parked, and the bird could be heard and seen in the vicinity at the
picnic tables.
This is a great looking bird and a rarity for Utah.
