[Birdtalk] Great Tooele County Birding

I helped out with the Tooele CBC this morning and had what can only be called an
amazing mornign of birding... for Tooele... in December! Okay so I already
posted the rare sightings to BIRDNET, which included a BLACK PHOEBE, SNOW
BUNTING and NORTHERN SHRIKE. I covered the west half of Rush Vallery saw 23
species in the area:
1 Black Phoebe
1 Snow Bunting
1 Northern Shrike
1 Rock Wren
1 Juniper Titmouse
8 Pinyon Jay (west of Rush Lake in the juniper above the new development)
3 Cassin's Finch (heard calling in Stockton)
81 Horned Lark
35 House Finch
4 Rough-legged Hawk
6 Red-tailed Hawk
1 American Kestrel
1 Golden Eagle
21 Common Raven
2 American Crow
14 Black-billed Magpie
2 Mallard
2 Northern Flicker
17 European Starling
5 Dark-eyed Junco
2 House Sparrow
50 Rock Pigeon
2 American Goldfinch
