[Birdtalk] possible Indigo Bunting

Hi, 
 
A possible nemesis is gone. A bunch of us found the Northern Parula at  River 
Lane today. Pretty much the same other birds were seen.
 
Now about the bunting;
 
Saturday we came back from River Lane and stopped at Powell Slough. We saw  a 
blue bird that at first I thought was a Mountain Bluebird. I got a quick  
look at the breast and it was bright blue. Not a bluebird. I did not get a good  
enough look to rule out a Blue Grosbeak. 
 
I went back today and called up a female bunting that probably was a  Lazuli. 
There are a lot of finches feeding in the area and it could  well be an 
Indigo. The area is right at the parking lot. I first saw it at  the culvert with 
the water running in it and it flew north. Maybe some of the  Utah County 
birders could check it out. Check the entire area with the  daisies.
