Hi Everyone:
It's not too late to register for the Western Birding Symposium/Utah
Ornithological Society Fall Conference! There's still room for all events
and trips. For information, go to: http://brighamcity.utah.gov and click
on the WBS logo.
Note: Because of low registration numbers, all field trips will be in vans
rather than buses. And the Saturday Willard Bay/Antelope Island trip has
been cancelled. All other trips will take place, and there's still room
for more participants.
Pete Dunne will be here on Thursday afternoon for the FREE "Social", after
which he will speak on, "The Art of Pishing". A book signing will follow.
On Friday evening, following a delicious dutch oven dinner, Pete will again
speak on, "Twenty Things That Changed Birding". Both talks are sure to be
excellent!
We have an excellent line-up of speakers both Friday and Saturday
afternoons. And the UOS general membership meeting will take place at
4:00pm on Saturday - members are encouraged to attend!
ALL events will take place at the wildlife education center at Bear River
Refuge. For questions, please don't hesitate to give me a call!
